If there is anything that Disney has done right with the Star Wars rights, it's connecting with the new generation of little Star Wars fans! With the show Star Wars Rebels they hit a home run for my son. So it could not took to long for my son asked me to build Kanan, Esra and the rest of the crew... and ofcourse I did...
Star Wars Rebels is an animated television series set five yearsbefore the events of the Star Wars original trilogy, during the timeframe between the films Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.
The series follows a motley group of rebels who live aboard the starship Ghost as they fight against the evil Galactic Empire. The rebels include Ezra Bridger, a young orphan from Lothal who learns he can use the Force; Kanan Jarrus, a Jedi who survived Order 66; Hera Syndulla, a Twi'lek pilot and veteran resistance fighter; Sabine Wren, a Mandalorian explosives expert; Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios, a Lasatwarrior; and the cantankerous astromech droid C1-10P, also known as Chopper.

Although my (by now) 5 year old son loves this series, Me as a 36 years old dad can't stop watching this series because it adds so much more storyline to the original movies! I really enjoyed this build and there will sure be Star Wars evil guy soon ;)
